Description MaineHealth CorporateProfessional - Nonclinical Summary: The Leadership Gift Officer role is focused on building relationships with potential donors in the community and securing leadership commitments. Builds a culture of philanthropy and works closely with clinical and administrative leadership to achieve the mission and vision for the future of healthcare. The Leadership Gift Officer (LGO) is a frontline fundraising leader within MaineHealth's Southern Region responsible for securing leadership-level philanthropic support in alignment with MaineHealth's top strategic priorities. This role manages a portfolio of 150 high-capacity donors and prospects while supervising and mentoring leadership gift team members. The LGO is expected to be a key contributor to current philanthropic initiatives including medical education, clinical and biomedical research, precision medicine, and capital expansion for orthopedic surgery. The LGO is expected to secure a minimum of $1M annually in leadership gift commitments. In addition to community-facing work, the LGO serves as the primary philanthropy liaison to MaineHealth's OB/GYN Service Line and Maine Medical Center's Department of Medicine with a strong emphasis on grateful patient and family philanthropy. In partnership with clinical and administrative leaders, the LGO plays a critical role in advancing MaineHealth's culture of philanthropy and long-term mission. The Leadership Gift Officer - MMCP role is focused on building relationships with potential donors in the community and securing leadership commitments. Builds a culture of philanthropy and works closely with clinical and administrative leadership to achieve the mission and vision for the future of healthcare.
