Dark Wolf is seeking a strategic, commercially-minded, and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations, drive corporate development, and act as a key strategic partner to the executive leadership team. In this role, you will oversee a lean and efficient accounting team, lead capital allocation strategies, and spearhead corporate growth through M&A and advanced pricing frameworks. The ideal candidate will balance rigorous financial discipline with an entrepreneurial mindset, uncovering cost efficiencies while building the financial architecture needed to scale our services and product offerings. Responsibilities include:



  • Taking full ownership of the timely preparation and presentation of financial performance metrics and the delivery of comprehensive board reporting.
  • Developing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and target rates aligned with long-term corporate objectives.
  • Providing rigorous discipline and final approval around all operating expenses (OpEx) and capital expenditures (CapEx). Establishing and managing collaborative feedback loops with the internal leadership team to optimize spending.
  • Directing the internal accounting function (approximately 7 FTEs) alongside an outsourced support team.
  • Overseeing and ensuring the seamless execution of all corporate tax, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Leading the corporate development function, identifying, evaluating, and executing any associated M&A requirements or strategic partnerships.
  • Leading and optimizing pricing strategies for commercial proposals across both services-based and product-based business lines to maximize profitability.
  • Developing and implementing rigorous reporting and review rhythms for division or "practice area" level profit and loss (P&L) statements.
  • Continuously seeking out and pursuing financially advantageous opportunities, including cost-savings initiatives, cash and asset management, and general ledger (GL) classification optimizations.


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 10 years of experience with progressive financial leadership experience (e.g., CFO, VP of Finance, or Head of Finance), ideally within a hybrid services and product-based environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading corporate development and navigating complex M&A transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage, scale, and elevate a blended team of internal full-time employees (~7 FTEs) and external outsourced vendors.
  • Strong experience developing sophisticated pricing strategies for complex product and service proposals.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with a history of building trust and delivering clear insights to Board members and C-suite executives.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance/Accounting is highly preferred.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a minimum of a Secret level security clearance.
