Position Summary University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment. As part of NYU's Development and Alumni Relations Senior Vice President (SVP) team, the Associate Director, SVP Suite oversees project and deliverable schedules for donor briefings, board presentations, and town halls. Manage strategic initiatives that involve interactions between the Office of General Counsel and the SVP, including the planning and execution of Board and Board Committee meetings. Ensure that the SVP and the President are prepared for all prospect-related meetings by working directly with research teams, fundraisers, and the customer relationship management (CRM) system. Manage the department budget, expense reports, and reimbursement requests. Serve as the key point of contact between the SVP Suite and other units within UDAR to ensure successful UDAR-wide initiatives and events (ie, Town Halls and other important events involving the SVP). Lead a portfolio of special interest projects for the Board of Trustees and University VIPs, partnering with various University offices to prepare and manage talking points, presentations, or other deliverables. UDAR encourages work-life integration for our employees, therefore this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Qualifications Required Education: Experience in a C-suite environment and experience in higher education is also preferred Strong analytical skills Ability to create and implement strategies Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Experience with database software and strong database management skills Must be comfortable working with high level executive and corporate leaders and University leadership Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $85,000.00 to USD $105,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
