Job Description
The QA/RA Program Academic Services Professional supports the administration and day-to-day operations of the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QA/RA) certificate program. This role serves as a primary point of contact for prospective and non-degree seeking students, helping ensure smooth communication, program coordination, and student support. The Academic Services Professional will collaborate with program partners, including the Colorado BioScience Institute, to support program activities and initiatives.
What You Will Do
* Monitor and manage the program email account and respond to inquiries from prospective and non-degree seeking students regarding program logistics, enrollment processes, financial aid, and scheduling.
* Provide administrative support for program operations, including maintaining program documentation, facilitating student enrollment in courses, record keeping for scholarship awardees, tracking inquiries, and coordinating communications.
*Serve as the QA/RA student advisor.
* Assist with scholarship application review, processing, and communication with applicants.
* Coordinate with the Colorado BioScience Institute on program-related activities, communications, and partner engagement.
* Support planning and logistics for program events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
* Help maintain program materials, marketing content, website information, and student communications to ensure accuracy and clarity.
* Support ongoing program operations and student engagement activities.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, life sciences, public health, business administration, education, regulatory affairs, or a closely related field.
* Experience coordinating communications among students, faculty, industry partners, or external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, life sciences, business, regulatory affairs, education, or a related field.
* Experience supporting academic programs, professional training programs, workforce development initiatives, or student-facing educational activities.
* Experience in the life sciences, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs industry sectors.
* Familiarity with FDA-regulated industries, quality systems, regulatory affairs, medical device development, or related healthcare regulatory environments.
* Experience planning and supporting workshops, networking events, professional development activities, or industry engagement programs.

* Demonstrated organizational skills, including managing multiple projects, maintaining records, and supporting program operations.
Conditions of Employment
Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required for program events and networking activities.
Mental, Physical, and Environmental Requirements
This position may be performed in a hybrid environment and requires the ability to work effectively in both remote and in-person settings. The position requires prolonged computer-based work, participation in virtual meetings, and occasional attendance at campus or partner events.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $11,200 - $12,175 (0.25 FTE)
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is eligible for overtime compensation.
