Department:OPS | Engineering and OpDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:This position will assist the Executive Director with all duties in the operation of the department. The Engineering & Operations Department is responsible for all facilities maintenance including HVAC/R, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC Controls, Fire Alarm Systems, Preventative Maintenance, General Maintenance, Plant Operations, Grounds, Signage, Key Access, Call Center and Minor Renovation and Construction Projects.Lead the Landscape & Grounds, In-House Construction, and General Maintenance sections of the Engineering and Operations (E&O) department. This team includes 2 direct reports and 36 indirect reports. Lead department efforts from strategic planning to daily operations including the development, implementation and monitoring of key performance indicators. Manage performance of outside contractors to ensure work is completed correctly and withing the budget provided and timeline. Devise and implement strategies and procedures to enhance employees' productivity, safety and morale. Work in close collaboration with other E&O departments and with other UAMS entities to understand customer needs and lead development of cost-effective and regulatory compliant solutions. Professionally communicate with internal and external entities with all levels of the organization.
