GRASSROOTS ADVOCACY MANAGER What you'll do. The Grassroots Advocacy Manager leads high-impact grassroots and grasstops advocacy initiatives that energize AAN members and strengthen the Academy's voice with policymakers. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, this role drives strategic engagement efforts that expand influence, build strong advocacy programs, and advance the overall success of AAN's advocacy agenda. Relevant education and/or experience exceeding the required qualifications may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Travel Requirements: Some travel required - up to 10% Location: Washington DC and is identified as hybrid (required to work in the office with the ability to work remotely part of the week) Schedule: Occasional evening and weekend required AI utilization: the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) is assumed and expected to be used in a responsible, ethical, and transparent manner.
