Job Description:

Chemonics seeks a Prime Contract Director for the USG Portfolio under the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team.The GHSC-PSM Prime Contract Director provides strategic leadership for prime contract management and ensuring compliance with contract requirements and global/country-level risk mitigation. The Director is accountable for contractual compliance, client engagement, and risk mitigation, and works across leadership, technical, and support teams to ensure effective contract performance and alignment with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:
* Develops effective and collaborative working relationships with GHSC-PSM and SCM staff and continually promotes outstanding client service. Provides guidance to GHSC-PSM HQ, Country Teams and project office staff on prime contract requirements and the approval process; ensures quality control for GHSC-PSM Risk Management and Country Programs.
* Provide strategic leadership for prime contract management, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of contractual requirements.
* Manages all USG client communication on contractual issues. Supports management of client communication and approvals process; develops improvements and identifies potential bottlenecks; leads development and continuous improvement of processes and procedures for client communications and client management.
* Oversee contractual compliance and risk mitigation in coordination with risk, compliance, and leadership teams.
* Collaborates with Chemonics US and RCC Compliance to identify and mitigate corporate risk.
* Coordinates with SCM leadership and Risk Management to document high-level project implementation practices and trends to ensure consistent application.
* Maintains situational awareness of all GHSC-PSM approvals including trends, client preferences, and quality control.
* Integrate prime contract management across technical, operational, financial, and risk functions to support effective project performance.
* Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required by the supervisor.

Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
* Master's degree or equivalent work experience; JD preferred.
* Minimum 8 years of project management, or technically relevant work experience.
* Field experience leading or serving in a management role on a USAID project preferred.
* Ability to solve complex technical, managerial or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge.
* Ability to operate at advanced levels of authority and manage significant activities, budgets and resources to produce and take responsibility for results.
* Demonstrated leadership, versatility and integrity
* Demonstrates knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts and tools, with the ability to apply them appropriately and responsibly to support efficiency, decisionmaking, and problem solving in a dynamic business environment.
* Strong judgment, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Compensation Range:

$115,000.00 - $144,000.00

An employee's pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.

Overtime exemption status may change due to state regulatory requirements.
