Description

    Providing systems integration, information assurance engineering and management to the Navy's AN/FPS-131A supplemental weather radar

  • Maintaining VRAM/IAVA compliance, ACAS scanning, STIG implementation
  • Ensuring MDE compliance
  • Developing architecture for application deployment to global SWR installations
  • Developing documentation for submission of C&A packages for multiple ATOs
  • Updating and implementing configuration management plan / system
  • Updating and implementing patch management plan / system
  • Providing data for COI application process for regional, theater and local NOSCs
  • Supporting upstream systems integration (ONEnet) efforts
  • Performing operational system administration tasks
  • Applying STIGs
  • Supporting FISMA audits and renewals annually
  • Delivering required contractual deliverables on time

Requirements

  • Strong experience and understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux methodologies to apply patches and required implementing Security Technical Implementations (STIG)
  • Strong software integration abilities to adjust OEM software settings to resolve conflicts when STIGS are applied
  • Ability to write/edit/maintain basic bash scripts for remote updates, graceful shutdown
  • Working knowledge of various database software including MariaDB, Postgresql and/or MySQL
  • Ability to maintain a small lab network consisting of several switches, Red Hat systems with many interfaces and internal routing and multiple VLANS
  • Self-starter who can progress program with minimal supervision


Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience or an equivalent amount of experience.
  • Experience in the following areas:
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, & 9
    • Linux+ or RHCSA
    • Security+
    • Security Technical Implementation (STIG) application
    • Bash
    • Software Integration
    • ACAS
    • eMASS
    • SCAP/Evaluate-STIG
    • RMF
    • Network+
    • CISSP
    • PostgreSQL
    • DOD Enterprise Networks (ONE-Net, NMCI, legacy)
    • Cybersecurity certs/degrees, etc


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE INTERIM SECRET LEVEL WITH SECRET ELIGIBILITY
