Electronic Security Technician (Entry Level)

Evolver is seeking an Electronic Security Technician (Entry Level) will assist with security system installations, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and demolition tasks. Security systems include access control systems, intrusion detection systems, CCTV and other electronic and physical security systems.

Responsibilities:

• The ability to learn to work on small and medium projects with some supervision at security installations.
• Knowledgeandsafeuseof hand tools and various power tools
• Ensure compliance withSafetyPolicies andProcedures
• Installvarious typesofLow Voltage Cable and cable tray.
• Maintainaclean work areaand participateinjob site cleanup.
• Follow a plan for sequence of work while working with other techs and helpers.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Up to95%travel which may be for extended periods.
• High School diploma orGEDis required.
• Must have an excellent safety record, a valid driver'slicense,and clean driving record in order to meet corporate eligibility requirements to drive a company owned vehicle as necessary.
• Must be able to pass and maintain a USG security clearance/background check.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs, work at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
• Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of (Hands on Work, Schooling or Military) experience in the Electronic Security (ESS) or access control industry.
• Electronics Certification from an accredited Technical School or equivalent military training.
• Strong communications, time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
• Consistently report to work on time, work well with other to accomplish a common goal and maintain a safe work environment.
