*Job Title: DMAC Technician*
*Job Description* This role focuses on delivering high-quality Technology Move, Add, and Change (DMAC) support within a fast-paced financial markets environment. You will handle hardware-based moves, adds, changes, imaging, migrations, and large move project coordination, while also performing essential administrative and documentation tasks. The position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed and a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork. *Responsibilities* * Perform Technology Move, Add, and Change (DMAC) duties, including differentiated moves, adds, and changes in a financial markets environment. * Execute hardware-based tasks such as PC builds, installations, disconnects, reconnects, deployments, and refresh activities. * Support data migrations, Windows 10 and Windows 11 deployments, imaging, and troubleshooting of hardware and related issues. * Coordinate large move projects, ensuring all moves, adds, changes, and related activities are completed accurately and on time. * Engage and coordinate with vendors for telephony and data services, ensuring installations and changes are completed by target dates. * Manage procurement of systems access and related resources through multiple request management tools. * Use the Remedy Service Request Management ticketing environment to receive, track, and resolve service requests. * Respond to client email and telephone inquiries promptly, providing clear updates and high-quality customer service. * Document all work performed, including updates to logs, assets, status reports, and open requests. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date status of tasks and requests, ensuring stakeholders remain informed throughout the process. * Prepare and maintain timesheet logs in Excel and enter time and activities into the Fieldglass tool. * Follow established processes and procedures while adapting to changing business needs and priorities. * Collaborate closely with team members and act as a strong team player in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. * Communicate clearly in both written and verbal form with users, colleagues, and vendors to ensure smooth coordination of activities. * Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all technical and administrative tasks. *Essential Skills* * 2+ years of Technology Move, Add, and Change coordination and/or fulfillment experience in a financial markets environment. * Proven experience performing moves, disconnects, reconnects, and related hardware deployments. * Strong Experience in customer service, including direct client interfacing and handling email and telephone inquiries. * Hands-on experience with PC and hardware deployments, including PC builds, installations, moves, adds, and changes. * Proficiency with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems. * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and O365. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment while remaining detail-focused. * Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed and openness to overtime. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to document work thoroughly, including logs, asset updates, status reports, and timesheets. * Comfort using request management tools and ticketing systems, including Remedy Service Request Management. * Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities. * Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and deployment issues. * Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative mindset. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * A+ certification is a plus. * Experience supporting a trading or financial markets environment. * Familiarity with data migrations, imaging, and refresh projects. * Experience with deployment and troubleshooting of Windows-based hardware environments. * Ability to maintain detailed logs in Excel and record time and activities in tools such as Fieldglass. *Why Work Here?* You will join a long-term contract opportunity within a major financial institution, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic trading and financial markets environment.
