Wattsburg Area School District is looking for a Middle School Mathematics Teacher.

Shift: Full time, regular school schedule.

Salary Range: Minimum of $52,263 based on degree(s).

Start: 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications:

• Valid Mathematics 7-12 (Code 6800) or Middle Level Mathematics 6-9 (Code 2860) or Grades 4-8 (All subjects 4-6, Mathematics 7-8) (Code 3100-01) certification.
• Strong organizational
• Effective written and oral communication
• Self-motivated and adept at problem solving and critical
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaches assigned students/classes the approved
• Engages students actively and meaningfully through lesson design, instruction, and
• Identifies and implements appropriate instructional practices and methods to meet students varying ability levels.
• Uses an appropriate variety and number of assessments to determine student academic
• Provides written feedback to students on assessed material on a regular
• Implements the IEP requirements of special needs
• Establishes communication with parents through a variety of means to inform them of academic and behavioral progress and achievement.
• Maintains accurate and complete records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality with student

Required Clearances and Documentation:

• Act 34, 114, and 151 clearances less than 1 year old
• Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training less than 5 years old
• Act 168 Sexual Abuse/Misconduct Disclosure
• Health physical less than 1 year old
• Tuberculin skin test less than 3 months old
