Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of advanced infrastructure? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join a team focused on the critical setup, testing, and connectivity of complex electrical and mechanical systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless deployment and operation of distributed test and commissioning applications, directly contributing to the reliability and efficiency of groundbreaking projects. Your expertise will drive the standardization of testing processes and equipment deployment, making a tangible impact on operational success.

Responsibilities:



  • Support the deployment and configuration of distributed commissioning test applications across project sites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with critical test instruments, including power quality meters, load bank controllers, and environmental sensors.
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks essential for commissioning operations.
  • Effectively balance reactive support requests with planned site-related work, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Provide remote engineering teams with timely status updates and escalate risks as needed.
  • Validate equipment readiness before commissioning milestones and coordinate equipment redeployment between projects.
  • Plan and maintain a forward-looking schedule of site-related work using standard tools and processes.
  • Ensure all issues and incidents are meticulously recorded and tracked within team tooling.
  • Conduct site team training focused on commissioning network and test equipment safety.
  • Travel occasionally to project sites to support onsite commissioning platform setup and site readiness activities.


Must-Have Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering, network engineering, computer science, or related field experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a systems engineering, site engineering, or technical support role.
  • Proven experience setting up and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks.
  • Prior experience working on construction projects supporting electrical systems, networks, or building management systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of construction site safety practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently, prioritize workflow, and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Strong collaborative skills to plan and execute key deliverables with teammates.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites for onsite support.
  • **Crucially, candidates must possess hands-on test equipment or hardware experience; those with only software/programming experience will not be eligible.**


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • Experience with both hardware and software systems.
  • Controls experience.
  • Prior work in industrial environments.
