Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to support a fast-paced dental/healthcare environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring instruments are properly sterilized, organized, and ready for use while maintaining strict compliance with safety and infection control standards. Key Responsibilities * Clean, sanitize, and sterilize dental and medical instruments * Maintain accurate logs of sterilization cycles and spore testing * Track instruments through the sterilization process using electronic systems * Ensure all sterilization areas remain clean, organized, and compliant * Monitor inventory and maintain supply levels for daily operations * Support providers by fulfilling instrument and equipment requests * Identify and report equipment or process issues to leadership * Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and general operational support What You'll Need (Must-Have) * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records * Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Knowledge of infection control and sterilization processes * Strong organizational and time management skills * Proficiency with basic computer systems (email, documentation, tracking systems) * Excellent communication and teamwork skills Additional Experience (Nice to Have) * Prior experience in sterile processing, dental assisting, or healthcare setting * Familiarity with medical or dental instruments * Experience with electronic medical or dental record systems * Understanding of OSHA compliance and safety standards Work Environment & Schedule * On-site, team-oriented healthcare setting * Standard Monday-Friday schedule (8 AM - 5 PM) * No remote flexibility Note: This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. During the contract period, paid time off is not included. One paid holiday is provided during the winter season, with additional scheduling plans discussed to ensure coverage during holiday closures.
