Sayres is seeking Structural Engineer III with ability to obtain secret clearance in in Philadelphia PA.

This is a significant engineering and technical support effort tied to the Navy's propulsion, power generation, and ship systems testing infrastructure located at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The contract supports some of the Navy's most critical land-based test facilities before technologies are installed aboard ships.

Position Summary (Contingent)

The Structural Engineer III provides engineering support for civil and structural design, construction, and analysis activities.

Responsibilities



  • Develop structural engineering designs and calculations.
  • Review construction plans and specifications.
  • Perform structural assessments and evaluations.
  • Support new construction and facility improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and codes.
  • Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Applied Mechanics.
  • Minimum 3 years of structural engineering experience.
  • Minimum 2 years supporting new construction projects.
  • Secret clearance required or the ability to obtain
