Luxury Valet Attendant

Schedule: Part-Time (Friday-Sunday)

LAZ Parking is hiring a Valet Attendant to support guest arrival and departure experiences at La Bahia Hotel in Santa Cruz. This position plays a key role in daily hotel operations by assisting guests with vehicle parking services during peak weekend business periods.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a hospitality-focused environment, can remain professional in fast-paced settings, and takes pride in providing attentive guest service.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and welcoming experience for hotel guests upon arrival and departure.
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles while following company and property procedures.
• Manage vehicle staging areas and assist with traffic flow during busy service periods.
• Respond to guest questions regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions.
• Maintain accurate vehicle location awareness and ticket information.
• Coordinate with hotel staff to ensure efficient guest service and smooth daily operations.
• Report any vehicle damage, safety concerns, or operational issues promptly.
• Uphold company standards related to safety, appearance, and customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of passenger vehicles.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to remain on your feet for the majority of a shift.
• Availability to work Friday through Sunday, including evenings and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in valet, hospitality, guest services, parking, retail, or customer-facing roles.
• Experience working in a hotel or resort environment.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Physical Requirements
