The Treasury Management Business Development Officer will partner closely with Commercial Banking, Retail, Business Banking, and IMG teams to drive new business development and deliver comprehensive treasury solutions. This role is responsible for managing the full Treasury Management sales cycle-from prospecting and needs assessment through pricing, proposal development, closing, implementation, and ongoing client support.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end Treasury Management sales process, including: Needs analysis, Solution design and pricing, Proposal development, and closing/onboarding
  • Proactively generate new business through community engagement, professional affiliations, and Centers of Influence (COI) networking
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to achieve revenue growth goals
  • Partner with internal sales teams through joint calling and strategic deal support

Relationship Management & Client Experience

  • Develop and deepen relationships with existing clients to drive retention and identify additional treasury opportunities
  • Serve as a key point of contact for client communication, ensuring alignment with service and product needs
  • Participate in prospect and client meetings to assess needs and recommend tailored treasury solutions
  • Support all aspects of the deposit relationship

Treasury Expertise & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor on treasury management, fraud prevention, and banking technology
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients, prospects, and community stakeholders
  • Lead or support treasury product implementations, upgrades, and client training initiatives

Strategic Initiatives & Execution

  • Contribute to and lead special projects as assigned
  • Support client retention and expansion efforts, including through bank acquisitions and integration initiatives
  • Develop high-level materials and presentations for executive review and client consultation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field combined with a minimum 4 years of related work experience.
  • Excellent relationship management and business development skills
  • Established network of COIs
  • Knowledge of bank products. Experience with escrow services, letters of credit, Foreign exchange, 1031 Exchange and interest rate swaps highly preferred
  • Sound cash management product knowledge and in particular, Lockbox, Positive Pay, Account Reconciliation, ACH, Remote Deposit knowledge of rules and regulations that need to be abide by in order for the bank to be in compliance
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with strong computer competencies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment

Compensation for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, education, and internal equity. The salary range posted reflects the company's goodfaith estimate of the range for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary. In addition to base salary, certain positions may be eligible for additional compensation, including commissions, incentive awards or stipends.
