Koch Technology is seeking a Business System Analyst, with demonstrated exposure to time and attendance systems. Exposure to pay and time-off rules that define the logic for employee pay processing and time off earned are key areas of knowledge. Implementing global system enhancements and system configuration development, supporting time and attendance solutions, and developing knowledge of the businesses and solutions are key expectations of this role. This person is motivated to learn, has technical aptitude, thinks critically about both processes and system functionality, delivers change, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Interpersonal skills, effective collaboration and communication, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and the ability to work with others in a diverse culture will be key to your success in this role.

Our Team

The Time and Attendance HR Technology team is a collaborative and diverse group of individuals who support the time and attendance applications for companies across Koch. We provide value to Koch by transforming the user experience, eliminating manual processes, and providing accurate time records for employees' pay. Members of this team work together to advance our processes, initiatives, vision, and strategy. Members of our team are interested in expanding their knowledge of the system while working to support customers through issue tickets and configuration projects.

Location: This role can be located in Wichita, KS / Atlanta, GA / Plano, TX / Auburn Hills, MI and requires an in-office presence with flexibility.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate effectively with others to accomplish shared objectives and respond constructively to situations and feedback.
  • Contribute effectively within an Agile-focused setting.
  • Conduct system maintenance and configuration for time and attendance solutions.
  • Gather and document requirements from customers and stakeholders, providing options and recommendations for solutions through clarification and effective communications with customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive test scripts to ensure thorough testing coverage of all new features and functionalities
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate configurations and enhancements meet business needs and specifications
  • Responsible for resolving, stabilizing, and documenting complex cases related to Global/Enterprise HR technology, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and addressing system gaps.
  • Share, acquire, and document knowledge, present and carry out well-designed experiments, and explore ways to challenge or improve existing processes and Agile practices.
  • Quickly learn, think critically, and apply new knowledge to further the team's goals.
  • Design, configure, test, and implement global time and attendance platform technologies and processes.
  • Utilize expertise in time and attendance systems and business processes to support internal customers and offer recommendations for optimal system use to meet business needs.
  • Investigate, identify, and resolve escalated user issues and system discrepancies; collaborate with vendor support to track and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ensure application changes are thoroughly tested and successfully deployed into the production environment using a specified SDLC process.
  • Willing to travel based on projects and clients as needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Capable of working independently project and support activities with minimal direction.
  • Strong ability in conceptual thinking, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Effectively collaborates within cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of project or product deliverables.
  • Proven experience in system implementations or upgrades, from initial planning to post-launch, including documenting requirements, configuring systems, supporting testing, and support stabilization.
  • Experience with time and attendance software such as UKG WFM (Kronos), UKG Pro WFM, or Dayforce WFM, including experience in implementing software or hardware enhancements.
  • Ability to prioritize working on multiple issues and projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in engaging with customers to gather requirements, define business objectives and assess technical feasibility.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Exceptional skills in interpersonal communication, collaboration, and facilitation.
  • Experience with SQL, Generative AI, or other low code automation tools
  • Knowledge of ITIL including IT implementation methodologies (SDLC, Agile, etc.) or equivalent IT service management training & experience
  • Experience working in a product team and in an Agile methodology
  • Experience using a service ticketing system, such as ServiceNow.
