Your Role

As a GenslerTechnical Designer you will collaborate with our Design Directors to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will be successful because you already know how to translate an architect's sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models andimages andcan research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise.Your work ethic,combined with your commitment to collaboration and mentoring, makesGensler the perfect place to nurture your career.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents andproduction

  • Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatoryagencies,and other vendors to meet overall projectobjectives

  • Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions

  • Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings

  • Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination

  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture

  • Licensed Architect preferred but not required

  • At least 10 years of related experience, including proven ability to deliver projects from beginning to end

  • Experience interpreting building code requirements in designs, coordination with consultants, and clear client communication during C.A.

  • Revit proficiency required

  • Proficient in the use of 2D/3D software, including Revit, BIM360, Octane, SketchUp , Lumion, Rhino, V-Ray, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

  • Experience using and applying VR and/or AR as applicable to the architectural design process is a plus

  • Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes

  • Strong organizations skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

  • LEED accreditation a plus

**The base salary range will be estimated between $104,000-128,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
