STV is seeking an experienced Director of Engagement in the Advisory Services Outreach & Engagement Strategies division. Outreach & Engagement Strategies is arapidly growing communications practice within STV. With a team-oriented approach to public involvement, we strive to make highly technical information accessible to a wide variety of audiences. Collaborating across multiple teams and clients, the Director of Engagement takes a strategic approach to communications planning, converting ideas into touch points that connect. The position offers excellent potential for positive impact in the community as this individual would assist in effectively implementing engagement strategies across infrastructure programs.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor, a strategic thinker experienced in delivering robust, concurrent communications programs. In this role, we seek someone with an inherent sense of initiative and a genuine dedication to the work we deliver.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide visionary leadership and mentorship within the team, inspiring innovation and maintaining high standards of excellence in design and communication.
  • Communicate project objectives and key messages, translating complex technical information into compelling visual narratives for communication to diverse audiences.
  • Develop and provide strategic guidance in the creation of high-level concepts to engage with the public in an equitable and accessible format.
  • Steer projects through conceptualization, development, and execution, with a focus on effectively supporting project goals and objectives in an innovative and engaging manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience within communications, with increasing levels of responsibility, and specialized experience in the transportation / infrastructure industry.

Compensation Range:

$187,747.98 - $214,569.12
