Provide the government customer information technology (IT) services and technical expertise to support a thoughtful transition from team-level Scrum agile methodology to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The Contractor will support both the operational transition and ongoing development activities, ensuring continuity of delivery while establishing SAFe practices, structures, and governance. Additional information about the SAFe framework can be found at SAFe 6.0 (scaledagileframework.com). In addition, we will assist the government customer with the design, architecture and implementation of a secure application development environment (ADV) specifically engineered to accelerate the organization's SAFe transformation. This environment must integrate automated security controls directly into the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and prioritize developer productivity and autonomy. Furthermore, the ADV must enable Zero Trust architecture that scales across distributed teams without compromising the Lean-Agile mindset. The program will support the following activities: SAFe implementation, software development/enhancement/deployment, O&M, and information & system security.

Location: This position will be on-site in Winchester, VA.

Clearance: Top Secret with ability to get SCI

The Scrum Master - Junior supports Agile and SAFe execution for product lifecycle activities under the program. This role guides teams in Scrum and Agile practices, facilitates team ceremonies, removes blockers, supports team progress toward goals, and helps promote collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. The Scrum Master will support the program's transition from team-level Scrum to SAFe Agile, including operating rhythm, team coordination, Agile ceremonies, and adoption of SAFe terminology and practices.

* Facilitate team-level Agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, user demonstrations, and backlog refinement.

* Support product team progress toward sprint goals, PI objectives, team commitments, and program priorities.

* Identify and help remove impediments, blockers, and dependencies affecting team delivery.

* Promote Agile quality practices, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

* Help teams adhere to agreed working agreements, Definition of Done, and SAFe-aligned practices.

* Support ROM and level-of-estimate activities.

* Coordinate with other teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and technical leads to improve cross-team alignment.

* Advise government and contractor stakeholders on incremental process improvements and standardization opportunities.

Required Skills:

* Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years or more of experience

* Experience supporting Scrum, Agile, or SAFe team execution.

* Understanding of Agile ceremonies, user stories, backlog management, estimation, team rules, and continuous improvement.

* Ability to facilitate meetings, document outcomes, track action items, and support team follow-through.

* Ability to identify blockers and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to support resolution.

* Strong facilitation and meeting-management skills.

* Active Top Secret clearance

Preferred Skills

* Current SAFe Scrum Master certification or ICAgile Team Facilitation certification.

* Experience with SAFe implementation or transition from Scrum to scaled Agile practices.

* Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar Agile tools.

* Familiarity with PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, System Demo, Inspect and Adapt, and cross-team dependency management.

* Experience supporting software development, DevSecOps, cloud, or enterprise IT programs. Familiarity with federal IT environments and contractor/government delivery models.
