We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Laguna Hills, CA.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS
• Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Amnioinfusion, Antihypertensives, APGAR scores, Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Cesarean Section, Circulate for C-section, Collect cord samples, Couplet Care, Epidural Anesthesia, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Facility births/month 100-200, Facility births/month 200-300, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Hemorrhage/shock, High Risk Antepartum, ID/Security Banding, Infant Identification, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Labor & Delivery, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Assist with vaginal delivery, Drawing Venous Blood, Multiple Births, NST (Non Stress Tests), Pain assessment & management, Pitocin (oxytocin), Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Prostaglandins, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Recover C-Section, Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Spiral Electrode Placement, Sterile vaginal exam, Sterile vaginal exam, Terbutaline, Thermoregulation, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Use of PCA (IV), Vaccine Administration, Vaginal Delivery, Wound assessment/care
