Jun 25, 2026

At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life's uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers' evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.

Job Description

The Homeowners' Product Operations Senior Consultant acts as a critical strategic liaison and execution driver across countrywide personal lines initiatives. Operating at the intersection of Business Operations, IT, Pricing, Underwriting, and Compliance, this role ensures the smooth orchestration and rollout of new product launches, rate changes, discretionary initiatives, and major compliance mandates.

Rather than setting product vision or writing technical requirements, this position is a high-utility execution lead. The ideal candidate confidently commands large, cross-functional Microsoft Teams environments and leverages internal data tools to streamline communications, maintain operational transparency, and eliminate manual process friction.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution

  • Liaison Management: Connects business operation solution areas directly with IT support and development teams to ensure strategic initiatives are executed on time.
  • Countrywide Launch Coordination: Tracks, organizes, and manages complex state-by-state or regional launch and rollout plans for Homeowners lines of business.
  • Meeting Leadership: Confidently facilitates, leads, and organizes large-scale, cross-functional weekly meetings to communicate project status, mitigate risks, and hold stakeholders accountable.
  • Effective Communication: Presents complex product trends and project timelines in a highly informative, insightful manner via executive summary emails, status dashboards, and formal PowerPoint presentations.

Data Operations & Process Maintenance

  • Ecosystem Governance: Maintains and updates an established automated SharePoint Form and Lists database to ensure structured, consistent intake and tracking across all project lifecycles.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Manages, runs, and scales downstream data assets, including advanced Excel workbooks (utilizing pivot tables, formulas, and VBA code) and Power BI reports to replace manual data collection.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitors and evaluates performance trends for specific regional and countrywide Homeowners insurance products to inform strategic conversations.

Core Leadership Capabilities & Sample Behaviors

  • Digital Mindset & Results Driven: Thinks critically to use appropriate data and analytics to build our business. Identifies necessary information to evaluate situations, weigh options, and proactively overcome obstacles to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Change Ready & Future Oriented: Demonstrates curiosity, flexibility, and adaptability when navigating multi-state rollouts. Shows comfort with ambiguity, especially when solving tracking or timing challenges across diverse functional areas.
  • People Focused & Customer Centric: Actively seeks out and values unique perspectives from cross-functional teams (Pricing, Compliance, Underwriting, Finance, etc.). Motivates and engages others to perform to their greatest potential during large-scale initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of operational coordination, business liaison, or project execution experience within the insurance industry (Homeowners or Property lines heavily preferred).
  • Proven track record leading large-scale cross-functional teams and meetings without direct authority over participants.

Technical & Tool Competency

  • Required: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, formulas, and comfort navigating/troubleshooting existing VBA code).
  • Required: Strong comfort with SharePoint Forms, Microsoft Lists, and running/interpreting Power BI dashboards.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Agile or Scrum concepts is a nice-to-have, though rigid framework execution is not required for daily tasks.

Working Conditions

  • 100% Remote (Countrywide focus)

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have formal people-management supervisory duties but requires heavy operational leadership and cross-functional influence.
