Security Officer Client Service Patrol

As a Security Officer Client Service Patrol in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a premier retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, storefront areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor customer and employee traffic, observe merchandise areas and common spaces, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or unauthorized activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control and closing/opening procedures as assigned, helping to verify authorized entry, monitor restricted areas, and/or maintain orderly operations throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
