We are seeking an experienced Welder IV to join a growing manufacturing team in Charlotte, NC. This role is responsible for fabricating and welding filtration equipment, piping systems, and structural components while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical welding experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
  • Fabricate and weld filtration equipment, piping systems, and structural assemblies according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
  • Apply AWS welding symbols and standards throughout fabrication and welding processes
  • Select proper wire, shielding gases, wire feed speeds, and voltage settings to achieve optimal weld quality
  • Complete production reports, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies involving drawings, routings, bills of materials, and engineering updates
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support team initiatives and assist with training on product-specific procedures when needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications
  • 2 years of welding and fabrication experience required
  • Strong knowledge of American Welding Society (AWS) welding symbols and codes
  • Experience with GMAW and FCAW welding processes required
  • Successful completion of AWS 1G Unlimited Thickness certification or ASTM Section 9 certification preferred
  • Experience using cutting torches, stud welders, and overhead cranes
  • Ability to solve fabrication issues independently and work with a strong sense of urgency
  • Computer skills are preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
