The Pre-Doctoral Fellow is a current student in a degree program in psychology, neuroscience, medicine, biological sciences or related, and is conducting independent research under the supervision of a principal investigator in preparation to work fully independently on department level and original research in the future.
Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Under the supervision of the CPP Director, conduct original, professional-level research and modify techniques as necessary to meet research and/or experimental needs. - Responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining accurate research data. - Use statistical or qualitative analysis software to synthesize and interpret study results, perform data analysis using advanced statistical techniques, and ensure data integrity and confidentiality - Perform comprehensive literature reviews and contribute to the preparation of research presentations, papers, and progress reports. Drafts manuscripts and serves as a co-author on publications in journals and presentations at professional conferences and scientific meetings. - Assist in planning and coordinating research activities and reporting progress to the principal investigator or research team. - May assist in preparing grant proposals and funding applications and present findings at internal or external meetings when applicable -Participates and presents in Lab meetings and research seminars.
