Subject Matter Expert The SME serves as an advisor providing critical guidance and reporting to Countermeasures Directorate, and/or its subordinate office. This support will assist in the formulation of policy guidance; contract budget tracking (other than contract employed under); resource management and budget planning, transformation of existing practices to deal with emerging technology; and in general, provide exemplary support to Department of State worldwide. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Subject Matter Expert: Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Subject Matter Expert Responsibilities Include: The SME must have knowledge or expertise in either physical or technical security programs, developed over a period of at least five years in commensurate positions, wherein the SME is qualified to provide similar support to the Director of the Countermeasures Directorate and/or subordinate offices, a position equivalent to the Senior Executive Service. The SME is responsible for guidance incorporating comprehensive yet concise vision specific to implementation, operations, and maintenance. The SME shall be capable of analyzing existing operations in order to identify improvements and propose plans for updating or changing as needed.
