Description

In this role, you will work within a highly motivated Test Engineering Team supporting Skyworks Timing Solutions.
Responsibilities include understanding and analyizing detailed design blocks to create and document test strategies,
ability to understand and debug code with special emphasis on C/C++, analyze large data sets to identify excursions
and non-conformance to specifications, and the ability to constructively interact with other technical teams.


Test Engineering at Skyworks serves as a central coordination point between the IC Design Team, the Product Engineering
Team, the Applications Team, and the Marketing Team. TE's are critical to taking a project from the concept phase
all the way through to mass production and have involvement at every step.

Responsibilities

  • Developing/documenting detailed test strategies for mixed-signal hardware designs
  • Implementing test code to execute on the production test plan
  • Implementing code on ATE hardware to fully characterize new products and establish production limits
  • Identifying issues and troubleshooting problems with software development


Required Experience and Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowldedge of hardware design and/or low-level software development
  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience in C/C++ programming and Python or other scripting languages highly desirable
  • BS and 2 years experience/MS in EE


The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$77,900 -$142,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
