Summary
The Engineering team is seeking a Civil Engineer I to help the Power Authority accomplish its strategy of driving the clean energy transformation through emissions-free generation. In this role, the civil engineer will lead research, design, and development activities to improve NYPA's energy infrastructure. This includes providing design and construction support for a variety of civil engineering projects related to NYPA's power generation assets which can include projects related to roads, dams, buildings, renewables, site engineering and geotechnical engineering . In addition, the role ensures that all Civil/Structural engineering standards associated with facilities and assets are maintained and ensures that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness, and performance are met throughout all engineering activities. The estimated salary range for this position is: $110,000 - $137,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
