The Director of Sales is responsible for leading all sales and revenue generation efforts. This position develops and executes strategic sales initiatives that maximize occupancy, ADR, market share, and profitability. While maintaining a healthy group base, the Director of Sales will drive revenue through market penetration, account development, and strong relationships.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
  • Drive group sales by proactively seeking new business opportunities and responding promptly to inquiries
  • Establish annual sales strategies, account plans, and action plans aligned with ownership.
  • Drive a proactive sales culture focused on prospecting, account growth, and customer retention.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, networking functions, and customer engagement.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, inventory, and market segmentation strategies.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews.
  • Conduct regular client visits, site inspections, and customer appreciation events.

Hotel Specific:
Compensation: Salary $85,000 - $92.000 annually
Qualifications
Required


  • Minimum 5 years of hotel sales leadership experience in a full-service hotel environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue and market share goals.
  • Strong understanding of Business Transient, Corporate, and Leisure business segments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead through influence.


Preferred


  • Familiarity with ProfitSword reporting and business intelligence tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Previous experience with HotelKey PMS system a plus.
