The Executive Director of Ambulatory Operational Performance & Integration is responsible for optimizing operational performance across Mercy Health's ambulatory care settings, including primary care and GoHealth Urgent Care. This role will lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient experience while ensuring alignment with Mercy Health's mission and strategic objectives. Additionally, the position will oversee business intelligence functions to drive data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement. This role will lead efforts to optimize access, throughput, and patient experience while ensuring alignment with clinical and organizational goals. The Executive Director will partner closely with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to enhance performance, integrate services, and deliver a seamless patient experience across ambulatory, primary care, and GoHealth services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence and standardization across ambulatory Specialty and Primary Care services

  • Lead performance improvement initiatives focused on access, throughput, and patient satisfaction

  • Partner cross-functionally to align operational strategies with clinical outcomes

  • Support integration across ambulatory platforms to enhance care delivery and patient experience

  • Leverage data and analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or related field required.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with a focus on ambulatory care.

  • Proven track record in operational performance improvement and integration.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience leading business intelligence functions.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and change management skills.
