Job Duties: Associate Sales with Goldman Sachs Wealth Services, L.P. in Miami, Florida. Execute tax planning, projection and review (US and foreign) high-net-worth portfolios, including preparation of annual tax planning strategies, proactive tax mitigation, and review of tax filings to ensure compliance with US tax laws. Work closely with clients and external experts to gather information required for filings, quarterly and as required, which involves coordinating with clients, accountants, and legal counsel to collect relevant documentation, facilitate quarterly reviews, and manage clients' requests. Prepare extension estimates, consisting of calculation and preparation of federal and state tax extension payments to avoid penalties, particularly for complex tax situations or delayed K-1s. Develop tax equalizations models for multi-jurisdictional individuals, addressing tax considerations and obligations. Prepare net worth statements, by compiling and maintaining detailed balance sheets reflecting a client's total assets, liabilities, and net worth for strategic planning and reporting. Create estate flowcharts, wills, execute wealth transfer processes, collaborate on drafting or reviewing estate documents, and implement gift strategies or trust funding. Conduct cash flow analysis by analyzing client income, expenses, and liquidity needs to support budgeting, investment planning, and tax payment planning. Support donor-advised funds, private foundations, and charitable trusts; assist with charitable contributions strategies and compliance. Collaborate with portfolio managers and advisors to align tax strategy with investment objectives, enhance client experience, and ensure cohesive planning.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, Business, Taxation, or related field and one (1) year of experience (with a Master's) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's) in the job offered or in a relate role. Prior employment must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master's) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's) with: preparing federal and state individual tax returns, extension estimates, and tax equalization calculations; complex tax concepts including AMT, SALT limitations, and multi-state residency rules; assisting in the drafting of estate flowcharts, gifting strategies, and reviewing wills and trust documents; working with advisors or partners to compile sensitive financial documents and assist in the creation of client deliverables; communicating with high-net-worth individuals, focusing on confidentiality, precision, and proactive responsiveness; assisting in the preparation of personal balance sheets, net-worth statements, and detailed cash flows projections to assist with liquidity planning and scenario modeling; coordinating with legal, tax, and investment professionals to gather documentation and ensure timely filings; and assisting in the drafting of charitable contribution summaries, coordinating with donor-advised funds, private foundations, and nonprofit legal teams, and handling of tax treatment of donations and compliance issues.
