Schedule: On-Site Role, 3rd Shift (Mon-Fri, 10:30pm to 7:00am) - Must be able to train on 1st and/or 2nd shift.

- Shift Information: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday (10:30 PM-7:00 AM)
- Training Requirement: Candidates must be available to complete training on 1st and/or 2nd shift prior to transitioning to 3rd shift.

Position Summary:

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is seeking a Cleanline Technician / Blast Operator to support the overhaul and repair of critical aircraft engine components.

This position is responsible for cleaning, stripping, blasting, and preparing aerospace components for inspection, repair, and coating operations. Successful candidates will work with specialized chemical cleaning systems, water jet equipment, blasting equipment, and other surface preparation processes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Candidates with manufacturing, aerospace, industrial cleaning, blasting, chemical processing, metal finishing, or surface preparation experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, strip, and prepare aircraft engine components using approved chemical and mechanical cleaning processes.
- Remove paint, carbon, rust, grease, coatings, and other contaminants from aerospace components.
- Set up and operate water jet stripping and blasting equipment according to established procedures.
- Read and interpret work orders, overhaul manuals, operation sheets, and process specifications.
- Verify part identification, work scope, and routing documentation before beginning production.
- Select appropriate fixtures, tooling, and cleaning methods based on component specifications.
- Perform hand cleaning of precision aerospace components when required.
- Monitor chemical processes and maintain awareness of proper chemical handling procedures.
- Prioritize work to meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all environmental, safety, and hazardous material handling procedures.
- Properly wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support additional production activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or industrial production experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to safely work around chemicals and industrial equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Industrial cleaning or parts washing experience.
- Grit blasting or abrasive blasting experience.
- Water jet stripping experience.
- Chemical processing experience.
- Powder coating or paint preparation experience.
- Metal finishing or surface preparation experience.
- Experience working with hazardous materials while following OSHA and environmental regulations.
