Summary: Werner is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to help keep our Regional Distribution Center operating safely, efficiently, and at its best. In this role, you will be the go to resource for facility upkeep, equipment maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement projects that support our warehouse team and customers on the 2nd shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Perform regular inspections of assigned equipment and adhere to safety protocols and procedures to provide a safe and clean working environment.
  • Conduct minor repairs and adjustments on various equipment and systems to ensure their proper functionality.
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including painting, carpentry, and basic plumbing tasks as required.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for events, meetings, or other company functions.
  • Serve as a resource to warehouse supervisors on facility related maintenance work.
  • Coordinate resources as needed to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with and communicate to other departments to address maintenance-related matters.
  • Performs all other duties as needed and/or assigned.


Required Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution
  • 1-2 years of facility maintenance experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be proficient in the use of power and hand tools
  • Ability to use computer including email and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications



  • Two-year degree or certificate program from an accredited educational institution in applicable trades program (Industrial Maintenance, Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter etc.)
  • 3 years of experience working within an applicable trade field or maintenance position
  • OSHA General Industry 30 Hour Course certificate
  • Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
