Overview

VTG is seeking a Management Analyst III to provide support to theCV-22Product Support Manager (PSM)andHeadquarters Air Force Special OperationsCommand A5 (AFSOC/A5)in support ofCV-22Requirements /Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) at Hurlburt Field, Florida.


What will you do?

  • Provide in-service support to the CV-22RequirementsOffice AFSOC/A5RX,Hurlburt Field,Florida.
  • Specifically provide support duties as aManagement Analyst IIIforAFSOC/A5RX.
  • Develop and/or review studies which influence decisions on the needfor contractor versus internal/organiclogisticsin sustaining major items and critical repair parts for new or enhanced systems.
  • Prepareand reviewrecommendedproposals, adjustments, and realignments addressing system supportability to the ILS management team.
  • Identifyany critical problem areas,modifysupportability milestones, and provide impact statements.
  • Compile necessary logistical data andpreparebriefingsforhigh level officials inHQ AFSOC, the V-22 Joint Program Office,or other components on the status of current and futurelogisticssupport programs.
  • Participate, as a member ofILSmanagement team, in planning conferences, systemrequirementand design reviews, special board reviews, orlogisticsin-process review conferences. For fielded systems,identifydeficiencies associated with current systems, evaluate potential impacts of proposed replacement or modifications, and formulate changes for integration into logistic support plans.
  • Plan, organize,andparticipateinqualification tests to verify the operability, suitability, and supportability of systems, support equipment, or automated test equipment.
  • Provide technicalexpertiseand oversight during development, in-process reviews, and verification of technical publications and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals.

Do you have what it takes?

Education:Bachelor'sdegree.

Allowable Substitution: AMaster'sdegree in a related technical discipline may be substituted for three (3) years'experience.

Experience - At least ten (10) years of experience inintegratedILSorMaintenanceactivity of aeronautical weapon systems acquisition programs.At least one (1) year of defense acquisition management experience must have been obtained within the last five (5) years.

Work hours will be in direct support of the client; therefore, hours may be fluid at times to meet customer/operational requirements.Work schedule flexibility isrequired.

This is a non-Service Contract Act(SCA)position.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Highly proficient with theMicrosoft Professional Office Suiteincluding Microsoft Word, Access, Excel,andPower Point;well-developedwritten and oral communication skills; ability to assess established business processes, identify/document business process problems and recommend business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to develop andmaintain a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the CV-22 support mission.

Knowledge of the following areas is highly desirable:a)CV-22 Osprey Tiltrotoroperations andmaintenance experience; b)Air Forceaircraft requirements development; c) NAVAIREngineering Change Proposal (ECP) Process
