Department of Communication We seek a scholar of interpersonal communication who conductsapplied empirical research in complex social and relationalcontexts. We welcome applicants who approach their scholarship froma diverse range of empirical perspectives. Responsibilities of the position include undergraduate and graduateteaching, an active program of research in the candidates area ofexpertise, and service contributions in accordance with universitypolicy. A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant fieldis expected by June 2027 for a September 2027 start date.Applicants should have a demonstrated record or strong likelihoodof top-tier peer-reviewed publication and evidence of, orpreparation for, effective teaching.
