Job Summary
The Athletics Video and Creative Production Coordinator reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director for Creative Strategy and Social Media and plays a key role in supporting the development of game-day promotions, social media, and marketing initiatives. This position contributes to the department's digital and social media efforts through the creation of dynamic visual content, including graphic design, photography, and videography.
The coordinator is responsible for helping tell the story of UT Dallas Athletics by producing engaging, brand-aligned content, with a primary emphasis on meeting the department's video production needs.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree - Sports Management or Sports Marketing

Zero to six months experience with in-game manager for fan engagement; social media coordinator; and sports marketing.

Preferred Education and Experience

3-5 years experience in creative services, preference for experience creating content for a sports team or organization; knowledge and commitment to NCAA Division II rules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Athletics Video and Creative Production Coordinator reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director for Creative Strategy and Social Media. This role supports the development of game-day promotions, social media, and marketing initiatives, while contributing to the department's overall digital presence.
The coordinator assists in executing the department's digital and social media efforts particularly in graphic design, photography, and videography to effectively tell the story of UT Dallas Athletics while maintaining brand standards, with a primary focus on video production needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital and social media strategy, with a focus on increasing fan engagement, growing social media communities, and enhancing the UT Dallas Athletics brand
  • Support the management and execution of graphic design needs for UT Dallas Athletics and individual sports teams across websites, social media, in-venue displays, and other digital platforms
  • Provide video coverage and content creation support, including occasional travel with UT Dallas Athletics programs
  • Ensure content strategies align with current audience trends and industry best practices



Additional Responsibilities

  • Travel occasionally with UT Dallas Athletics programs to provide extended coverage
  • Stay current on evolving content strategies to maintain alignment with audience engagement trends
  • Adhere to the Code of Ethics set forth by The University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Texas System
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and utilize institutional software systems
  • Comply with all state and university policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during athletic seasons

  • Travel may be required, including extended periods via bus or van
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Must possess and maintain a valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record at the time of hire.

Remote Work Notice
After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in-office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
