We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Test Engineer II. WHAT YOU WILL DO: The JLCCTC TE2 (Test Engineer 2) reports up through the JLCCTC Engineering Management team and provides task-unique expertise needed to interpret system/customer requirements, ensure responsiveness, and achieve successful performance. Additionally, this position will be assigned other projects or tasks in alignment with the level and scope of the position. This position provides support to the assigned sub team (Tech Ops, Functional, Embedded, Automated, and Mission Command) within Integration and Test team. The responsibilities will include but not limited to install, operate and troubleshoot JLCCTC system (Tech Ops), perform functional test (Functional), develop test plans (Embedded), perform Mission Command installation, troubleshoot, and test (Mission Command), or develop automated testing modules (Automated Team). All I&T members will use ticketing system (JIRA) to document the new and existing issues. Other duties include documenting test steps into required systems, providing on-site and phone support to integration events and exercises. The candidate must be able to work with scheduled deadlines and communicate professionally both written and verbal. The candidate is also expected to complete tasks independently without significant support from a senior member of the team.
