Search Specialist - Transplant

Plans, administers and facilitates activities related to the unrelated donor search process and coordinates search related activities with participating registries and donor centers. Responsible for placing appropriate donors into workup at initiation of transplant request. Maintains and provides necessary documentation for physicians to select donor sources and provides detailed donor search information to assist with research abstracts and publications. This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely. 1.0 FTE - 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday 8a-4:30p Responsibilities
Facilitates donor search, reviews results with transplant physician, ensures financial coverage, places donors into workup, communicates updates to PA/C's, patients, families, and referring physician as necessary

The hourly pay range for this position is from $28.36 to $40.37 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely. 1.0 FTE - 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday 8a-4:30p Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
