Job Overview: The Quality Inspector performs activities related to quality assurance including, but not limited to: Inspection of components and finished goods, completing associated documentation, and support of other quality-related activities Responsibilities: * Visual inspection, measurement, and functional testing of components and finished assemblies * Perform other inspection activities as needed for process validations * Document nonconformance's when defects are identified * Comply with all company policies and procedures * General document review, scanning, and filing of quality records * Assist in investigations as needed * Other duties as assigned Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of inspection experience in a medical device manufacturing environment or equivalent experience preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and follow controlled quality documents, procedures, and work instructions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of good documentation practices within a regulated manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation. Experience using common gauges and precision measurement instruments, including calipers, micrometers, vision systems, pin gauges, and similar inspection equipment. Working knowledge of sampling techniques and basic quality tools used for problem-solving and continuous improvement. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and standard units of measure. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work safely in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment, including following gowning and PPE requirements and working around moving mechanical parts. Ability to perform required physical activities, including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
