UMKC's Kansas City Athletics - Women's Volleyball Job Description
This position will play a vital role in supporting the Kansas City Athletics Volleyball Head Coach with direction and administrative oversight of the intercollegiate volleyball program relative to successful athletic performance, team management, player development, recruitment, and retention of student-athletes. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our program while fostering a positive and competitive team culture. Duties will include, but are not limited to: * Collaborates with Head Coach on all aspects of the program. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrate experience working in NCAA Division l or professional volleyball in all areas. A successful record of recruiting NCAA Division l student-athletes is preferred. Must be able to follow the requirements of the NCAA, the Summit League, and the mission of UMKC. This position, along with all coaches and staff, is responsible for the integrity of our intercollegiate athletics program and for the reputation of our university. Candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact with a large variety of constituents to represent Kansas City Athletics and the University Community. Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $50,000 - $62,500 annually. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
