1500 Solana Blvd Suite 5200 Westlake, TX 76262 m1services.com Job Summary: M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I - (Electrical and Environmental Flight Line) who will assist with daily aircraft launch and recovery operations. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Assists with daily aircraft launch and recovery operations. * Assists with troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft electro-environmental systems. * Repairs, replaces, rebuilds, and adjusts aircraft electro-environmental systems, test equipment and aircraft accessories. * Sound knowledge of electro-environmental systems and associated support equipment. * Reads and interprets manufacturers and aircraft's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. * Performs periodic and other hourly or calendar inspections as required. * Receives technical guidance from Managers, Supervisors, Leads or higher-level technicians as required. * May be required to obtain and maintain special certifications as directed by management. * Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to aircraft or equipment maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make entries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required. * May be required to aid writing/initiating engineering technical assistance requests. * Complete all assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors, leads, and more senior technicians. * Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms). * Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash. * Performs any other supportive duties as assigned. * May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract. Qualifications and Experience: * High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable. * Minimum of 4 years performing as a USAF or sister service fighter aircraft Electrical and Environmental technician with at least 1 year as F-16 Electrical and Environmental within the last 10 years required. * Working knowledge of MIS systems, forms documentation and strict adherence to aircraft technical data is required. * All Electro-Environmental personnel must be able to pass a color vision test. * Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language.
