Job Summary

Join our team as an Industrial Electrician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems within a dynamic industrial environment. This full-time position demands technical expertise and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Primary Duties
  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical components and systems in an industrial setting.
  • Maintain electrical equipment to ensure reliability, including motors, transformers, and circuit breakers.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to perform work accurately.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to identify electrical issues and implement solutions.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Document maintenance activities and report on system performance and any issues encountered.
  • Assist with the installation of new machinery and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest electrical technology advancements and industrial best practices.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a closely related technical maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and industrial machinery operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations governing electrical work in industrial environments.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina for handling maintenance tasks.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and document work accurately.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills.
Education / Experience

Minimum completion of a technical diploma or certification in Electrical Technology or Industrial Maintenance. Extensive hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance or equivalent apprenticeship training is essential to succeed in this role.

The US base rate for this full-time position is 31.5. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.

U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and paid time off starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date.
