Maintenance Technician

The Centre County Airport Authority (CCAA) is seeking a qualified and motivated Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and operational duties related to the commercial terminal and parking system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this M-F 8: 00 AM – 4: 00 PM position include, but are not limited to Facilities Maintenance such as conducting routine repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.  Groundskeeping — Mow grass, trim vegetation and maintain landscaping;  safely operate vehicles and machinery such as tractors, mowers, and snowplows.  Participate in winter operations including plowing and maintaining safe surfaces around the main terminal and parking lots; perform painting, carpentry, minor construction, and general repairs.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, electrical, mechanical maintenance, heavy equipment operation, or a related skilled trade.
• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required airport security access credentials.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
