The Capital Asset Claims & Valuation Analyst will be responsible for independently assessing and auditing supplier cancellation and changerelated claims involving capitalized assets and capitalrelated cost exposures. This role focuses on determining whether supplier claims are appropriately classified, authorized, supported, and contractually committed, in accordance with Company policies and contractual requirements. The Capital Asset Claims & Valuation Analyst plays a key role in CAPEX governance, including evaluation of asset classification, fixed and labor cost authorization, and contract commitment controls. This individual will interact with suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, and Finance to resolve disputed claims and support factbased settlement decisions. The auditor will perform substantive testing of supplier claims, obtaining sufficient and appropriate evidence to support claim recommendations, documenting results and findings, and communicating conclusions to appropriate stakeholders. The selected candidate will perform onsite verification of tooling, equipment, inventories, and other supplierheld capital assets that may be included in cancellation or changerelated claims. This individual will also coordinate audit efforts with dealer field auditors, Chrysler Leadership Development program participants, and other internal groups, as applicable. Prepare appropriate management reports as needed. Travel requirements up to 30%, focused primarily in the Midwest. Job Responsibilities:
