Associate, Software Engineering with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Dallas, Texas. Perform detailed technical design and development of data intensive capabilities using existing and emerging technologies. Using modern technologies centered on data and analytics, ensure that the Firm provides clients with powerful tools to improve cash flow management efficiency. Requires: Masters degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role OR Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role. Prior experience must include three (3) years with Masters OR five (5) years with Bachelors with the following: building systems using Object Oriented Programming languages; implementing control-driven Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Git Hub or Git Lab, CI/CD principles, and automation pipelines; utilizing programing skills to analyze, design, develop, and support enterprise application development utilizing: Python, Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka; architecting, designing, administering, or developing safe, resilient, and highly available distributed services in Amazon Web Services based on business, tech risk and compliance, and controls requirements; designing data models for enterprise applications, managing data, and writing advanced complex queries against relational databases including aggregation, multi- row sub-queries and views; building scalable Application Programming Interface (APIs) using Spring boot, REST services, Graph QL, relational databases for data processing, data modeling, and in tuning database queries and testing data pipelines; delivering extract, transform, load (ETL), development of database objects, SQL Queries, and data analytic capabilities in relational database platform; and designing and developing solutions with modern data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake Data Warehouse, Cassandra, Oracle, or Postgres. Prior experience must include two (2) years with the following: distributed Systems Development; utilizing high throughput low latency messaging platforms for building scalable data pipelines like Kafka; building highly scalable and robust applications for transaction banking data consumption and ingestion; building ETL processes using Airflow, Flink, or Spark; building observability features using services such as AWS Cloud Watch or Datadog; and documenting functional architecture and diagrams based on business requirements.
