This position will provide inventory management and tracking of FedEx shipments, boxing equipment for shipping, submitting tickets to show work performed, distribute peripherals to users, dispose of equipment as necessary, and work with Desktop and Computer Technicians on asset management. This position is full time (40 hours / week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate hardware inventory of computer assets and peripherals at the warehouse location and as they are transferred to storage facilities and office locations
Daily tracking of shipment status for equipment sent for new hires Report problematic statuses (not delivered, delivery exceptions) as necessary to ensure delivery Work with FedEx and Distribution Center personnel as needed for escalation
Work assigned tickets to meet turnaround time expectations. Record appropriate details regarding issue and resolution
Work with hardware inventory system, other technicians and IT procurement to maintain stock level of peripheral devices needed for successful provisioning
Assemble peripheral kits (mouse, keyboard, monitors, proper cabling) FedEx label creation, inventory updating
Computer data imaging and uploading Inventory management assistance
Assist in all shipping / distribution center issues for escalation purposes POC for all supervisors for status updates for remote / IT shipping issues
Process disposals for IT Operations departments to properly dispose of non-functioning OR aged items POC with UnitedHealth Group and IT Security for disposal process Assist IT Security in the disposal / shred of data bearing devices following UHG security procedures

As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86, (the National Agency Check Legal and Credit or NACLC). Successful completion of the NACLC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NACLC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received. Failure to obtain final NACLC approval will result in termination from this role.
