Salary range:
The posted UC Salary Scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The salary range for this position is $146,700-$442,800. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: July 1, 2026 Next review date: Friday, Jul 31, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Dec 30, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Division of General Internal Medicine and Health Services Research in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting full-time clinician educators at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks for multiple primary care practices in Southern California. Responsibilities include a minimum of 36 hours per week of direct patient care; clinical teaching of medical students and/or residents; participation in creativity in a variety of professional activities including those that may involve teaching, scholarly contributions, administration, and participation in university or public service. The successful candidate must be board-eligible or board-certified in a primary specialty. Demonstrated skill in clinical teaching and professional practice is required. An M.D., D.O., or equivalent is required. A California medical license is required.
