TYPE OF POSITION: Non-Represented Hourly, 10 month Hours may vary based on program needs REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Equity Programs, Executive Director of Community Education SUPERVISION: None SALARY: $22.50 - $28.50/hr QUALIFICATIONS: Required Preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of school equity program administration POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Supervisor of Equity Programs and the Executive Director of Community Education, this position promotes School District 742's mission and core values by assisting administrators, staff, students and families in navigating and resolving obstacles to homeless student achievement and school success. Effectively communicates with families, students, and school staff. Assists homeless students and families in accessing district programs and services. Works as a team member with all school staff to improve homeless students' academic performance, achievement, attendance and/or behaviors. Helps connect homeless families to resources in the school and in the community.
