What You'll Do:
  • Design and modify electrical power, I/O, and cable harness systems for semiconductor equipment
  • Develop and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation
  • Design, prototype, debug, and support printed circuit boards (PCBs)
  • Evaluate and qualify replacement components for obsolete or end-of-life parts
  • Investigate and resolve field-reported electrical issues through root cause analysis
  • Perform design reviews and ensure electrical drawings meet release requirements
  • Partner with mechanical and software engineers to develop integrated solutions
  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product documentation within PLM systems
  • Support production releases and engineering change activities
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale electrical system design
  • 3+ years of experience designing cable assemblies and wire harnesses
  • 3+ years of experience in PCB design, layout support, bring-up, and debugging
  • 3+ years of experience supporting power distribution systems, controls, or industrial equipment
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience with large-scale system architectures involving analog circuits, digital controls, EtherCAT networks, AC heaters, thermocouples, and RTDs
  • Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and BOM management tools
  • PCB schematic capture experience using OrCAD or similar design tools
  • Experience with EtherCAT communication systems
  • Knowledge of 208VAC/480VAC power distribution, breakers, contactors, and control enclosures
  • Familiarity with SEMI S2, SEMI S22, NFPA 70, NFPA 79, or similar industrial safety standards
  • Experience designing 24VDC analog and digital I/O systems
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to independently identify technical solutions
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment
Additional Information:
  • Position is fully onsite in Fremont, CA
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
  • Occasional overtime may be required based on project demands
