Job Summary & Functions:

  • Support the public markets investment process for both individual companies and third-party managers. Responsibilities include sourcing investment ideas, maintaining sector coverage, conducting fundamental research, and presenting recommendations to the investment team.
  • Source, evaluate, and perform due diligence on third-party managers, including leading diligence meetings and providing investment recommendations.
  • Monitor existing portfolio holdings and support ongoing investment due diligence.
  • Assist with integrating ESG considerations into the investment process for both public companies and third-party managers.
  • Contribute to client presentation materials, client-related projects, and other ad hoc initiatives.
  • Continuously develop investment expertise and contribute to team investment discussions.
  • Provide trading support as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Intellectual curiosity, strong passion for investment research, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather information from diverse sources, perform fundamental and quantitative analysis, and communicate findings clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collective success.
  • Self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic and proactive approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Financial modeling experience (MS Excel) and strong quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with investment research platforms and applications is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in equity research, and a strong academic record (BA or BS required).
  • Progress toward an MBA or CFA designation is preferred but not required.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range for this specific position at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to qualifications and experience, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
